Abstract
Collaborative learning applied in an online class engages students to become active participants in the social learning process. With the ubiquity of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), technological uptake in today?s highly globalized society is a predictor for intellectual and economic growth where students and teachers play significant roles in ensuring learning continuity even in the face of disruptions. This paper discusses theoretical justifications and empirical studies related to online learning. It provides robust knowledge in online learning.
