Abstract

This study investigates the working arrangement and its impact to employees productivity during COVID 19 pandemic in CALABARZON area SY 2020-2021. It aimed to determine the profile of organizations and respondents, assess the extent of practices of AWA adopted during COVID19 pandemic, ascertain the significant difference between AWA when grouped according to profile, determine the productivity after adopting AWA, the significant relationship between AWA and productivity, identify the challenges encountered in AWA practice, the significant relationship between AWA and the challenges encountered by the employees and develop a framework and strategic action plan to improve/sustain employee productivity. This study used mixed method, purposive sampling with 250 respondents from 25 organizations across 3 sectors of CALABARZON namely: hotel and restaurant, education and government. Findings of the study revealed that there was a weak association between the AWA adopted and the productivity while there is significant relationship between the extent of AWA practice and the challenges encountered by employees.
