Radio broadcast is a medium that can be used as a learning resource. Educational radio broadcasts are intended not only for teachers but also for general listeners. Along with technological developments, radio broadcast use the internet now or what is called streaming radio, where radio broadcast can be listened to through a computer device connected to the internet network or through applications on mobile phones and no longer have to be listened to through radio devices. This paper is a literature review on educational broadcasting of Radio Gema Edukasi as a learning resource that refers to books and research journals on radio broadcasting, learning resources or learning media, and radio broadcasts as learning media from 1978 to 2020. Based on the literatures referred to in this paper show that radio broadcast has many advantages of being used as learning media. Educational Echo Radio broadcasts can be used as a learning resource because the learning materials broadcast are designed according to the needs of the target students, teachers, and community observers of education; provide students with real and independent learning experiences; provide accurate and up-to-date information about the world of education; and help solve educational problems.
