Islam is a universal religion of Allah through the messenger of Allah, (may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him). The messenger of Allah propagates the religion and established an Islamic state in the city of Madinah fourteen hundred years ago. He returned back to his creator after the completion of this religion. He prophesize divisions in this religion and advises his Ummah to always use his path and that of his predecessors as a model to follow in Oder not to go astray. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept of radicalization amongst Muslims groups in the modern world. It begins with a review of the definitions of Muslim radical groups, scholastic views on radical groups. Further presenting several internal and external indicators that influenced and led to radicalization of Muslims globally. The paper discuss the negative impact of the Muslim radical groups to the Muslim world socially religiously and economically.
