Abstract
This study focused on the role of Achievement Motivation on distributed instructional leadership and teacher performance. This study is to ascertain the degree to which innovative pedagogy methods influence instructional leadership and student outcomes in public primary schools using the descriptive research design. The study utilized a teacher made survey questionnaire, mediation analysis is used to mediate the relationship between distributed instructional leadership and teacher performance, Pearson-Product Moment Correlation was used to determine whether there is a significant relationship between distributed instructional leadership and the achievement motivation, between distributed instructional leadership and teacher performance and between achievement motivation and teacher performance. The study revealed that significant positive correlations between distributed instructional leadership and achievement motivation, between distributed leadership and teacher performance, and between achievement motivation and teacher performance. The partial mediation means that DIL helps to enhance performance not only by inspiring the teachers but also via direct behaviors such as goal setting and fostering collaboration. It shows the significance of support and inspirational leadership that facilitates teachers, and highlights the crucial role in enhancing educational achievements.
