Abstract
1. This study examined the relationship between teachers' well-being and the challenges they face in managing students with behavioral problems. Specifically, it assessed the level of well-being among teachers in terms of physical, emotional, and social dimensions, and identified the common challenges encountered in
handling student behavior. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study involved 30 teachers who responded to structured survey questionnaires. Descriptive statistics were used to measure levels of well-being and challenges, while Pearson Product-Moment Correlation was employed to determine the relationships
between variables.
2. Findings revealed that most teachers demonstrated high levels of physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. However, challenges such as classroom disruptions, emotional exhaustion, and concerns for student safety were also commonly experienced. The results further showed a significant positive relationship between teacher well-being and behavioral challenges (r = 0.44 to 0.59, p < 0.05), with emotional and social well-being having stronger correlations. This suggests that teachers who are more emotionally and socially engaged are also more aware or affected by student behavioral issues.
3. The study highlights the importance of supporting teacher well-being not only for personal health but also to better manage behavioral concerns in the classroom. Interventions such as professional development, wellness programs, and institutional support systems are recommended to enhance teacher capacity and resilience.
