Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic transformed global work structures, accelerating the shift to hybrid work arrangements. In the Philippines, the Healthcare BPO sector quickly adapted to this change, facing both challenges and opportunities in maintaining productivity. This study explores the factors affecting employee productivity in hybrid work environments within the Healthcare BPO sector in the National Capital Region (NCR), focusing on work-life balance, work stress, and job satisfaction. A quantitative descriptive and causal research design was used to examine the relationship between these variables and employee productivity. The study surveyed 119 healthcare BPO employees in NCR, selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected via a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using mean and multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that healthcare BPO employees had high levels of work-life balance, job satisfaction, and productivity, with moderate levels of work stress. Collectively, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and work stress significantly predicted productivity, with work-life balance emerging as the most significant factor. These insights highlight the importance of hybrid work models in fostering a competent and motivated workforce. The study recommends that healthcare BPO companies implement a formal hybrid work model supported by interventions such as on-site childcare, workplace fitness programs, mental health support, and regular employee check-ins to maximize the benefits of hybrid work.
