Abstract
This study explores the dynamic relationship between demographic traits, coaching effectiveness, and transformational leadership behaviors among dance coaches in Eastern Visayas. Using the Transformational Leadership Theory, the research integrates demographics as influencers of instructional competence, with transformational leadership as a mediator. Employing a descriptive-correlational design, the study investigates the demographic profile and instructional competence of dance coaches through a survey instrument. Ethical considerations prioritize participant well-being and transparent reporting. Results reveal a significant correlation between coaching experience and appreciation, highlighting the impact of practical involvement on coaching attitudes. The study recommends tailored training programs to address specific coaching knowledge challenges and emphasizes nuanced interventions to enhance coaching capabilities, considering individual demographics. Overall, the research advocates for customized approaches to meet the diverse needs of dance coaches, contributing to ongoing improvements in coaching standards.
