Abstract
This research explores the potential futures of the music industry in the Philippines in the year 2050 using Causal Layered Analysis (CLA) as the primary methodology. CLA is employed to envision various trajectories for the country's music industry, particularly in the realms of pop music scenes, classical music, music education programs, business, and technological advancements. The study generates plausible scenarios by examining underlying worldviews, social causes, and metaphors that shape the current and future states of the music industry. Through the deconstructed layers, the research identified key trends and drivers of change, allowing for the development of distinct scenarios such as technological renaissance, cultural revival, global fusion, and sustainable harmony. These scenarios aim to inform stakeholders and guide strategic actions to ensure a vibrant and sustainable music ecosystem in the region by 2050.
