Abstract
ABSTRACT
The research was to establish the high level of relationship between pedagogical strategies and academic resilience to the extent of satisfaction among students coming out of Senior High School TVL learners in selected private secondary schools in Division of Davao del Norte by using descriptive-correlational research design. The respondents of the study were selected through a stratified random sampling technique (300). A modified version of the survey guide questionnaire was applied in the data collection. The results showed a high degree of pedagogical strategies in the regard of student involvement, safe learning climate, classroom management, clear instruction, activating learning, adaptive teaching and teaching learning strategies. The academic resilience was also very high in the aspects of perseverance, reflective and adaptive help-seeking, and negative responses management. It was also discovered that the levels of student satisfaction on academic, student services and physical facilities were high. A large correlation between pedagogical strategies and satisfaction of students existed. In the same way, there was also a significant relationship between academic resilience and satisfaction of students. Moreover, pedagogical strategies and academic resilience have a direct influence on the overall level of students’ satisfaction. The results contribute to the study by confirming that pedagogical strategies and academic resilience are significant determinants of students’ satisfaction among Senior High School TVL learners.
