Abstract
This study used a qualitative-descriptive methodology and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis to examined the implementation of career guidance programs. Based on Republic Act No. 11206 and Donald Super's Career Development Theory, the study explored how these initiatives help seniors high school students in making informed academic and career decisions. Career Guidance Week celebrations, aptitude-based seminars, teacher participation, and alumni partnerships were identified as program successes in focus groups with guidance counselors, guidance designates, faculty advisers, and students. Weaknesses involved inconsistent implementation, lack of monitoring and evaluation, minimal parental and industry involvement, and limited resources. Opportunities were discovered through community support, outside collaborations, and scholarship programs. The study highlights the need for more systematic implementation, improved evaluation, increased funding, and more stakeholder engagement to enhance students’ career readiness and success.
