Poor cultural preservation activities remain a major global concern. Cultural preservation activities, as predicted by political autonomy and intergenerational transmission, were verified. A predictive research design and a survey approach were used. Data from 220 Mandaya respondents were selected through a simple random sampling technique.  Using multiple linear regression analysis, the results revealed that the model has moderate predictive strength (37.8%) for cultural preservation activities. This result partly affirmed the Cultural Transmission Model. Future studies may explore other variables to account for the remaining (62.2%) of the criterion’s variance. NCIP leaders may implement programs that strengthen indigenous governance and cultural transmission within the Mandaya Tribe.
