This study aimed to develop and evaluate the LIBRO: Library Integrated Barcode Registration Operation System as an automated solution to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and record-keeping of library attendance at Philippine School Bahrain. A qualitative developmental research design was employed, incorporating system design, implementation, and evaluation through survey responses from students and library staff. The existing manual system was found to have moderate accuracy (M=2.60), low efficiency (M=2.42), and low record-keeping performance (M=2.42), indicating issues such as errors and difficulty in data retrieval. In contrast, the LIBRO system achieved high ratings in accuracy (M=3.67), efficiency (M=3.78), and record-keeping (M=3.83), indicating faster processing and better data management. Paired t-test results revealed statistically significant differences (p ≤ 0.001), confirming that LIBROs improved performance. The findings suggest that implementing barcode-based automation enhances library operations, reduces administrative workload, and ensures reliable records. It is recommended that the system be fully adopted and enhanced for broader school applications.
