Abstract

In fifteen (15) public elementary schools in Candelaria East District, Candelaria, Quezon, this study investigated the extent of transformational leadership principles and their connection to the perceived quality school learning environment. The results, which were obtained using a quantitative method, showed that school leaders continuously exhibit a very high degree of transformational leadership in all areas, such as idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, and customized concern. This suggests that leaders successfully set an example of moral behavior, convey specific objectives, uplift and encourage educators, foster critical thinking, and offer tailored assistance for professional development. In terms of classrooms, water and sanitation facilities, ICT resources, and building safety and condition, the quality school learning environment was typically high, demonstrating that these areas are favorable to teaching and learning. Libraries and laboratories, on the other hand, received just an average rating, indicating a lack of equipment, resources, and upkeep. Additionally, the study discovered a significant correlation between transformational leadership and the standard of the school learning environment, indicating that effective leadership methods lead to better educational conditions. Overall, even if the learning atmosphere is generally encouraging, better laboratories and library facilities are required to provide a more harmonious and productive learning environment.
