Student disengagement remains a pressing educational concern. The mediating effect of study habits on the relationship between social influence and mathematical resilience on student engagement was examined. Using a predictive research design, the data from 302 respondents selected through stratified sampling were analyzed via mediation analysis. Findings showed that study habits significantly mediate the correlation between the predictor and criterion variables. With a stronger effect observed in the link between mathematical resilience and engagement, partly supporting the Theory of Planned Behavior. Future research may explore additional mediating variables and qualitative insights, while educational leaders may implement programs that strengthen study habits to enhance the effect of predictor of student engagement.
