Abstract
The main purpose of this research was to find out the influence of parental support and the academic environment on the learning outcome of the students. This study used a descriptive-correlational quantitative approach with a regression analysis. The respondents of the study were grade 6 students from public elementary schools who were randomly selected in the Laak South District, Division of Davao de Oro. After the data was collected, the researchers analysed the data using regression analysis, mean, and Pearson-r. Results indicated that grade 6 students are receiving a high level of parental support, a high level of academic engagement, and a high level of learning outcomes. Furthermore, a strong correlation between these variables was observed. From regression analysis, it can be seen that emotional support, motivational support, and behavioral support make up the parental support domains, which have an impact on the learning outcome. Whereas physical environment, peer support environment, and learning resource facilities make up academic environment domains that impact learning outcomes. For that reason, educational leaders, government children's welfare agencies, school principals, teachers, families, and other immediate stakeholders can work together effectively.
