Abstract

This research assessed the effectiveness of Marketing Strategies and Sustainability of the Embroidery business in Lumban, Laguna. The descriptive correlational research, especially the survey method, was the technique that was used in this study. This study aimed to comprehend the relationship between promotional methods and the business's sustainability. It applied a researcher-made survey questionnaire as an instrument across one hundred (100) embroiderers from Lumban as the respondents. A 4-point Likert Scale, simple Mean, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient were utilized in this study. Findings revealed that there was a significant relationship between the dependent and independent variables.

The findings revealed that both the promotional strategies and the sustainability of the embroidery businesses were perceived at a consistently high level. The weighted mean for promotional strategies was 3.49, with a verbal interpretation of "Highly Effective," indicating that marketing efforts such as social media and events are successfully utilized. Similarly, the sustainability of the businesses yielded a general weighted mean of 3.48, interpreted as "Highly Sustained," which reflects the businesses' strong performance in areas like income generation, job opportunities, and product competitiveness.

There was a significant relationship between the Level of Effectiveness of Promotional Strategies and the Sustainability Level of the Embroidery Business in Lumban, Laguna (.197 to .513). The computed probability values .000, .002, .005, .012, .014, .032, .034, .036, and .049 were lesser than the level of significance (P<0.05); thus, the null hypothesis was rejected.

Based on these findings, a comprehensive two-year action plan was developed, with the following titles: Maximize Digital Presence & Social Media Engagement, Formalize Municipal Marketing & Event Calendar, Strategic Brand Ambassador Program, Enhance Training Programs & Curriculum, Foster Product Competitiveness & Resource Efficiency, and Strengthen Word-of-Mount Marketing. This plan provides a practical guide for business owners and the local government to enhance their marketing efforts and ensure the continues prosperity of the trade.
