Abstract

This study determined the relationship between the implementation of Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) and Semi-Expendable Property Records Management and the effectiveness of property records management in selected public schools in the Division of Laguna during the Academic Year 2025–2026. The variables examined included implementation processes and effectiveness indicators. The null hypothesis was tested using weighted mean, standard deviation, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. The study employed a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design. Eighty-eight (88) school heads, property custodians, supply officers, and administrative personnel were selected through purposive and stratified sampling techniques. Data were collected using a validated researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed to determine the level of implementation, effectiveness, and the relationship between the variables. Findings revealed moderate implementation of PPE and Semi-Expendable Property Records Management and moderately effective property records management. Most relationships were not significant, except maintenance and repair documentation and accountability. The study concluded that documentation, inventory reconciliation, monitoring, and digital integration require improvement. Strengthening inventory systems, personnel training, and monitoring mechanisms is recommended.
